hi so our last post died, and things have gotten kinda worse with the arrival of our other cat, my elder brothers homelessness, and the racial abuse getting hurled my way
we’re two disabled black lesbians trying to navigate employment discrimination and the American healthcare system, and tbh we’re losing. we originally had to split everything between 6 people, but due to my brothers getting evicted, everything we have (and everything we don’t) also goes to them
like last time, I’m still waiting for a doctor but recently they told me to call back in November. I’ve been calling since April. I believe the stress of everything is causing a flare up of something and I have no idea how to manage it, on top of my new seemingly random food sensitivities that keep popping up. I’m exhausted all the time and sometimes can’t even get out of bed.
on a brighter note, my girlfriend applied to five jobs, but their phone was shut off this morning so it’s urgent that they pay their bill.
we were able to get some necessities early last month due to peoples help, but we can’t make it stretch with 8 people. it’s a shitty situation all around and I wish we didn’t have to ask but until my gf can get a job and I can find out exactly what’s wrong with me, this is literally all we have.
I’m not gonna link my PayPal anymore because people are harassing me with my deadname
my cashapp is $silvertheestallion and my gfs is $Peachjammn
my Venmo is cherryadventure2
thank you so much for reading

its also ahistorical to claim that european states are "not siding against isr because they don't want to look antisemitic" governments do not care about that even though liberal norms might have convinced you they do. they're siding with isr in droves because it is in line with their own political and economic interests, i.e., continuing to have a militarized outpost in the middle east through which they can run intelligence and exercise some degree of control over the rest of the region. they are not random accounts on twitter who don't want to be "accused of being problematic"
there’s something so insane about people who used to love putting “free Palestine” in their bio now deciding they have pearls in need of clutching. how did you think Palestine was going to be freed? did you think that if we all wrote “free Palestine” in our blog titles the world would just say oh you know what, our bad? did you think if Palestinians protested really, really peacefully, that Netanyahu would be moved? did you think that essays about decolonization published in the neoliberal academy would do the trick?
or did you simply expect Palestinians to wait? to wait and watch every day as their loved ones are killed because they step out of line? as the journalists and medics are shot around them? as Israel commits war crimes against them and the world does nothing? raining white phosphorous down on an open-air prison where the exits are controlled, closed, bombed out? as the Sabra and Shatila massacres are forgotten and repeated and forgotten and repeated and forgotten and repeated in an endless cycle?
when you wrote “free Palestine” in your bio, what did you think it meant?
just wanna reiterate the classic “don’t believe everything you see on the internet” especially now that AI images are more common, and especially coming from an apartheid state that is built on lies. I’m sure some people scrolled by this on IG slow enough to let the propaganda hit their brain but fast enough to not notice the missing heads and arms. I would heavily scrutinize any image “Israel” or zionists tries to pass off as real
one day id love to run a monk only dragon ball dnd campaign but i dont know where id get the players for it LOL!

I've been writing and drawing a webcomic called Starchild for the past 5 years, and you can download the first 4 chapters FOR FREE here on Itch!
It's about two aliens trapped on an abandoned planet, trying to get to a mysterious tower before a murderous space pirate does first. It has action, mushroom aliens, underground caves, weird spaceships, WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT!!
The itch collection has all the comic pages, as well as some never before seen development art, author's notes, and promo art all gathered in one place.
But if you prefer to read your webcomics the old fashioned way, you can always read the story in it's entirety at TheStarchild.webcomic.ws
dude what the fuck is nintendo on like actually
they just 100% with their chest stopped all smash tournaments from happening and like. i don't care about the competitive scene at all but this is like. what the fuck
you can't host an in person tournament more than 200 people and you can't make more than a certain amount from tournaments NOR can you make more than that amount of money from content creation involving smash its like. what the actual fuck
like dude this is like......hateful towards a community that did nothing but play their games LMAO
From what I've gathered through various channels of scuttlebutt is that while they put their friendly execs and creators forward when it comes to game conferences, press releases, etc, the actual board of the company are largely old, totally out of touch businessmen who are ruthlessly litigious and protective of the brand. They take the customer base as a given constant and are totally disconnected from the reality of those customers and how and why the brand has its base to begin with. They don't understand the use of their product in a tournament setting and don't care to learn. It's just another aberration and threat.
that is so insane nintendo board die challenge
I feel that people have widely forgotten that Nintendo have been trying to control their IP being used by content creators for years now.
In 2017 they tried to prevent YouTubers streaming their games:
I can’t find an older source for it but I’m sure I also remember around the same time as the streaming thing the Let’s Play community - even those who didn’t livestream- talk about stopping all Nintendo content on their channels because Nintendo had started to copyright strike their channels and it wasn’t worth the risk or loss of money:
Even as far back as 2013 they have been putting their own ads on videos to divert ad revenue from content creators:
So yeah tl:dr I’m not even remotely surprised they’ve thought of some new thing to get in a tantrum about…
